Jump in personal insolvencies

The Insolvency and Trustee Service Australia is the government agency responsible for the administration and regulation of the personal insolvency system in Australia. Every quarter it releases data on personal insolvency actions. Today it released data for Q1 2012. That data showed a 10 per cent increase in personal insolvency actions through the year (with the bulk of the jump being in debt agreements).
